chocolate chip mini muffins

we had prayer this morning at my friend christie's apartment. such a great way to kick off the morning!

i made these little precious muffins for everyone to enjoy. it was torture for me to limit justin to only grabbing 2 after i pulled them out of the oven. very tasty and easy to throw together.

sorry for the bad pic.
iphone + nighttime doesn't = quality pics.

found the recipe on tasty kitchen (seriously, where else?)
the original recipe was for regular sized muffins. but i just altered the baking temp and time to make it work for the minis.

chocolate chip mini muffins.
ingredients:
1.5 cups flour
1/3 cup white sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chocolate chips (next time i might use mini chocolate chips)

preheat oven to 375 (or 350 for the minis)
in large bowl mix together flour, sugars, baking powder, baking soda and salt. set aside.
in a smaller bowl mix eggs, melted butter, milk and vanilla. add to flour mixture and stir until just all ingredients are wet. fold in chocolate chips.
spoon in muffins cups. (don't fill to the top)
bake for 16-20 minutes (i did 11-12 minutes for the minis)
