mary's mountain cookies

i almost forgot to post about these amazing treats we had in fort collins.

we spent our sunday walking around old town, eating, shopping, and going to church...pretty much my perfect day.

after dinner we were craving something sweet, so we stopped in mary's cookie store.

look at these precious cookies...mine was two chocolate chip cookies with cookie dough in the middle. justin's was chocolate chip cookies with vanilla buttercream icing.

to die for. and oh-so-sweet.
neither of us could finish ours, so we saved them for breakfast. breakfast of champions.

dallas bound...kinda?

justin and i are so excited to be going to greek summit this summer. check out the website, but it is summer project for fraternity/sorority students to learn how to be an influence for Christ in their house.

since i am passionate about finances/operations stuff, i am blessed to have the opportunity to serve the project in this manner. therefore, i am going to dallas for training. i am very excited for training (yes. i am lame)

BUT....i arrived at the birmingham airport at 10:30 for my flight and realized i left my license back in tuscaloosa (one hour drive...) major fail. seriously couldn't believe i did this. justin offered to drive back home to retrieve the license for me so i could eventually get on a flight. i got bumped to the next flight at 5:30 or so.

major nightmare, but the Lord met me. i was able to trust Him and His plan instead of freaking out or pushing myself on my original flight. this way i was able to slow down and have a couple great conversations with airport employees. now justin and i are going to go to a nice lunch in birmingham to pass the time until my next flight.

thanks for listening. just wanted to share my stupidity and how the Lord loves me and works things out, even when i do dumb things like that.

ps: thank you so much birmingham airport for having free wi-fi. such a blessing :)
