hey friends. it is great to be home. we were gone for 18 days. during those 18 days we spent time in georgia, virginia and colorado. no wonder we were so exhausted.

we celebrated a national championship. roll tide, even though we are bulldawgs at heart.

look at my new necklace. pretty sure its the pantone color of the year...tangerine tango. look at me being ahead of the times.

sweet millie loves being home. the squirrels were safe for too long.

mom got me a space heater for Christmas. huge life saver now that it actually feels like winter here in tuscaloosa.

insta-friday 2012.

first full week of 2012. i couldn't imagine spending it any other way...

we were so blessed to take almost 200 students from bama to the passion conference in the georgia dome in atlanta. completely unreal to be surrounded by 44,000 believers worshipping our Lord. an experience i will not forget.

so thankful for these students who are desiring to grow in the Lord and make Him known on our campus!

we left straight from the conference in atl to denver for training with cru. i passed out on the flight...i wasn't even comfortable, but somehow managed to sleep the majority of the flight. score.

major plus for our flight. satellite tv.

apparently i am excited by old technology though...

here we are in downtown denver. really love this place, can't wait to spend some of our free time exploring the city.

insta-friday after Christmas edition.

we made pioneer woman's cajun chicken pasta on Christmas eve eve. yummm.

there are obviously lots of pictures the best Christmas present. lexi (justin's sister) and her adopted puppy. we finally picked a name: ally.

we adopted her from the animal shelter.

she is a surprise Christmas present for Justin's little sister.

millie has been strange all week. i don't think she likes the baby dog.

she definitely doesn't like her howling cries at night.

neither do i, but i have a fantastic husband who takes care of the pup at night.

can't get over her sweetness.

i bought myself an early Christmas present.

i've wanted a tripod for a couple of months.

i'm already in love.

so, our week has consisted of puppy training and watching, last minute Christmas shopping and preparing for a big road trip.

can't really tell in this picture but millie and i decided to give justin a study break.

i put her on his desk and she slept there for a good 30 minutes while he worked in his office.

10 days til Christmas!

last year we had a little bit of snow...don't see that happening since it has been in the 70's this week.

this week.

this field used to be our town house. it's still tough to process everything we have been through since the tornado, but God has been so good! such a great reminder of His love.

gotta love after halloween clearance.

don't worry, i got a cow costume as well.

some people might call this animal abuse, i call it fun.

i picked up 40 pounds of chicken breast today.

i ordered it through zaycon, heard great recommendations from other blogs.
