diy wrap bracelets.

i recently made 25 of these bracelets to give out to a few students involved in our ministry.

all together they kinda look like bungee cords, but they look good in person. i promise.

here is the inspiration and more detailed tutorial.

i didn't have the same materials

so i used leather cord, embroidery floss and brass chain finished with a 1/4 inch galvanized hex nut.

{chain found in the ceiling fan department at home depot, hex nut at home depot too, the rest at michael's}

our pre-Christmas to-do list.

due to the nature of our job, we have a significant Christmas break...which we are pumped about! we will be traveling to visit family right before and after Christmas, so we have lots of time to get crafts and projects done at our house now.

we are putting together a few treats to bless our neighbors. i want to come up with a really cute printable to put with those goodies. any suggestions? :)

the previous owners of our house left a couple random shutters in our backyard. i was probably definitely too excited when i found them.

i've seen so many fun uses for shutters on blogs and pinterest.

i needed to make something to help me stay organized. organization has always been a weak point for me. no lie...

i cleaned, cut, sanded, cleaned again, spray painted and distressed a shutter to help me organize mail/bills.

i'm in love.
and the best part? i have more shutters to make some of the other fantastic things i have found online.

please tell me if you have any other projects or inspiration for the other shutters??

i saw these plain notecards on sale a couple weeks ago at michael's for under $2 a pack. they have both ivory and white, i went with the ivory option.

tonight, i finally got around to working on them!

these initial stamps are only $1 at michael's too.

and that is just any old stamp pad.

i'm in love.

(and it took under 30 minutes total)
