dorcas

this is dorcas emmanuel marco, our compassion international child. she is 12 years old and lives in tanzania. sorry for the bad quality, i took a pic of the picture compassion most recently sent us.

justin started sponsoring through compassion in 2004. he had anna for a few years, but her family moved ...so that's how dorcas came into our lives. 

we are so blessed by her letters. yesterday, our letter said "I did not get any shortage (needy situation). I pray for the plenty of blessings from God, so that you may not come short of anything." my heart melted.  she focuses so much on what the Lord has given her, most letters she is pumped to get a cola and a break from school. yet, i often focus on what we don't have or what we are waiting on. so thank you dorcas for your encouragement and prayers.

ps: we are so glad we got new pictures from dorcas. this is what millie did to the last ones...
